It was a gathering of notable dignitaries as the Turaki Adinni of Oyo State and Mogaji Adanla of Adanla Compound in Ibadan, Alhaji Abdul Jelyl Adekunle Kareem tied the Knot with the daughter of the Grand Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaja Mahmudah Abubakri Agbotomokekere.
The wedding ceremony which was well attended by dignitaries across the Business, Political and Islamic settings was held at the monumental Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja’ba, Ibadan.
While Speaking with Journalists, The newly wedded couple, extended their profound gratitude to God and those that came to witnessed the Nikkah ceremony for coming to celebrate with them.
The couple appreciated their parents for standing by them and also allowed them to be joined together in the holy matrimony.
Speaking with the journalists, the Special Guest of the day, Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, who was duly represented at the event by both the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola and his counterpart from the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Cooperatives, Otunba Demola Ojo, in their separate remarks advised the newly wedded couple to ensure they allow God to be their guide at all times and make sure they allow the love of God to be the bedrock of their home.
In her address, the Mother of the day, The former First Lady of Oyo state, Alhaja Mutiat Olayinka Oladoja urged the wife to be submissive to her husband and love her husband.
The couple could find no words to express their joy but their eyes and their smiles radiated all the happiness they could not put into words.
Every detail about their wedding was undeniable gorgeous.
The rich and enviable social contacts and affiliations of both families were fully displayed and amply felt by everyone present at the occasion as the hall was packed full with the cream the la cream of the state Business, religious and political high societies.
