Rep Member, Akande-Sadipe Mourns Ex-lawmaker, Kehinde Subair

IBADAN – A member of the House of Representatives, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has expressed deep regret over the demise of a former Ibadan South-west constituency lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair, whose transition was announced yesterday.
In a condolence message made available to journalist in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State on Saturday, the Oluyole Federal Constituency representative said she was saddened by news of the death of an illustrious son of Ibadan and former co-labourer in the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi led administration with whom she had a healthy and productive working relationship.
According to her, she and the late lawmaker, a former majority leader of the State House of Assembly forged a close political relationship fueled by mutual respect during Ajimobi ‘s administration, and since then, they have maintained an healthy relationship.
The Federal lawmaker, who Chairs the House committee on Humanitarian Services described late Subair as a friend, brother, and a reliable political associate with whom she shared common views on the welfare of citizens and progress of the State and the nation.

The deceased, she said, was an embodiment of passion, selflessness, and hard work. She noted “I met leader Subair in 2016 when I joined the late Gov Ajimobi’s administration and since then we maintained a very cordial political relationship. The news of his demise came as an unbelievable shock.”
The Lawmaker noted that the positive reputation and legacies of exemplary service of the late Subair, as a lawmaker and and sincere politician should be a source of comfort to the family.
She equally urged members of the family of the deceased to be consoled by the remarkable accomplishments of the late lawmaker who passed on at just the age of 59.
Akande-Sadipe prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair and grant his soul aljannah firdaus.
