Oyo Youth Agency DG, Falana Adebowale, Others Pay Tributes To Muraina As She Bows Out Of Service

IBADAN – The Oyo State Government has urged civil servants to emulate the selfless, passionate, and diligent service of Mrs. Nancy Muraina, the outgoing Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.
This charge was delivered by the Chairman of the Agency, Prince Falana Adebowale, during a retirement ceremony held in her honor at the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan on Friday, May 9.
Adebowale lauded Mrs. Muraina for her unrelenting commitment to public service, describing her as a key figure in the development of youth initiatives across the state.
“Her dedication and tireless efforts have been instrumental in shaping the lives of countless young people in Oyo State.
“Her leadership and vision have both served as a typical example of what a servant leader in the civil service should be, and her contributions will continue to leave a lasting legacy.” Adebowale said.
He also pledged to continue drawing from her wealth of experience for mentorship and youth development purposes in the state.
In her tribute, the Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, praised Mrs. Muraina as “a caring, jovial, intelligent, and diligent individual who has consistently demonstrated an exceptional work ethic.”
She encouraged the retiree to “maintain her good character and take care of her health in retirement.”
Also speaking at the event, Dr. Oyewole Aremu, Permanent Secretary of Ibadan Health Office Zone 1, joined other dignitaries in acknowledging Mrs. Muraina’s outstanding service and dedication to public duty.
In her farewell address, Mrs. Muraina expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the opportunity to serve.
“I am deeply grateful for the privilege to contribute to the growth of this state,” she said,
She urged her successor to “uphold integrity and avoid shady dealings.”
Looking ahead, Mrs. Muraina announced her intention to remain active in the public space through consultancy and youth development initiatives.
