PDP Aspirant For Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency, RAD Empowers Party Loyalists With Cash, Freezers, Others

PDP aspirant for Lagelu/Akinyele has empowered party loyalists with cash and other valuable item.
As there is a popular says that when there is no risk, there will be no reward, no pain no gain, so is the case of some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency Ibadan, Capital City of Oyo state, as the beneficiaries of Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo empowerment scheme went their various home with smile on their faces.

Ramata Agberemi Dabo, popularly known as RAD, who aspired to represent the people of Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency at the national assembly Abuja over the weekend showered her loyalists who are members and loyalists of the PDP with gifts ranging from deep freezer to a cash prize of one hundred thousand naira(N100,000.00).
Speaking with journalists shortly after the distributions of the gifts, Hon. Ramata maintained that the beneficiaries were rewarded for their loyalty, dedication, commitment for the development of our great party, these are the people who made posters, T. Shirts, gave me their precious time and many more to support my aspiration during the primaries of our party. She noted that is not that they really have much but they believed in our struggle and they devoted their time for me. not that they really have that much, that is why I’m rewarding them with this gesture to show my appreciation.
Hon. Ramata further said, that “These are the kind of people we need in politics, they are so committed to the party, and they are kind hearted people that really desired a better change for the society at large.
“As you can see most of the beneficiaries are entrepreneur, they have their small businesses, they are shop owners in different locations of my constituency. Infact they were not informed of about these gifts, but I knew they needed it, I’m supporting them today with brand new chest freezer, while some were given a cash of one hundred thousand naira just to support their businesses and to show my appreciation for staying with me when I needed them. They really deserve more than this.”
“My self and my team, Team Rad decided to make it a surprise and we began to contact them in their respective locations to present this gifts for them and they were all surprised and really appreciated the token we have done for them, which I believed it will go a long way touching their lives for better. We believed the gift will at least help them in one way or the other most especially during this economy hardship.”
“I see this as a clarion call to help my people that stood by me when I needed them, this I do to inspire, awaken the champion spirit in them most especially the women and youths in our community who stands out, risked their lives despite the glass ceiling, labelling, stigma to stand for me.
“My words for them is that we gain more for being loyal, patient and hardworking and I just deem it fit to put smile on their faces, these are my people, very soon I will be extending this kind gesture to other stakeholders and the larger house of our party. I’m urging them to desist from ‘No Money, No Vote’ syndrome, instead they should be strong, and defend their conscience and ensure that their loyalty is intact. Ramata said.
She however admonished the entire good people of the state to stay committed, connected, responsible and focused towards ensuring all our PDP candidates win at the polls come 2023 general elections.
She said, “I’m encouraging you all to give all your best, supports and dedication in ensuring the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde at the 2023 general elections.In conclusion, on behalf of myself, my family, my foundations, the Blue Angels Foundation, and the Team RAD, I sincerely appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for the unflitching support and privileged given to women to have equal right in displaying their capacity especially myself and other fellow colleagues, It’s now RAD for Seyi Makinde Again agenda and we will make it work, paying the price for it and come to reality, the work just begin.” Ramata said.
One of the beneficiaries, who spoke with journalists said, we supported RAD at the primaries just because her personality is so rare among our politicians today, we are so proud of her, she emerged as the second runner up to the winner of the primaries Hon. Adetokunbo Adeaga and that means a lot, it showed how truly we really loved her, we didn’t do it because of money but because of genuine love we have for her and because of the love she has for us too.”
“As you can see despite the outcome of the primaries she still keep in touch with us, today she has extended given us freezer, while some received a cash gift of one hundred thousand naira, this really surprised us.
