ABUJA – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Umar Ganduje has resigned as the party National Chairman.

Although there’s no official statement yet, but our correspondent, who visited the party Secretariat observed that Ganduje’s personal belongings were being removed from the office including his official pictures from the wall.

Even though details surrounding his resignation remain unclear, a source at the party national Secretariat said the National Working Committee will announce a Acting Chairman soon.

The source said: “Yes, Ganduje has resigned, and most of his personal belongings have been moved from the APC National Secretariat. The National Working Committee will soon confirm this and announce an acting replacement.”

It was observed that staff and visitors gather in groups and were discussing the matter shortly after jumat prayers.

Efforts to get Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary to speak on the matter proved abortive as repeated calls to his phone were not picked as at the time of going to the press.
