IBADAN – Oyo State lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Comforter Olajide, has heartily congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON on his emergence as the PDP Consensus Candidate for the upcoming Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-Election.
Hon. Comforter commended the peaceful and strategic consensus process, describing it as a bold and unifying step that reflects the strength and internal democracy of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.
She expressed deep appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde , for his visionary leadership and fatherly role in guiding the party through a transparent, inclusive, and peaceful selection process. According to her, Governor Makinde’s continued efforts to strengthen the PDP family across all levels are yielding results that inspire confidence and unity.
Hon. Comforter also applauded the political maturity and sportsmanship of the aspirants who graciously stepped down in support of the consensus arrangement: Hon. Taiwo Lekan-Salami, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, Hon. Waheed Akanbi BIIRO, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Bibire, Hon. Kamorudeen Oladimeji, and Hon. Mathew Alani Oyeniyi.
