Oyo REC Announces Conclusion Of First Phase Of Continuous Voters Registration

IBADAN – THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Oyo State has concluded the first phase of its ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) Exercise today, Wednesday 10/12/2025 to give room for the Display of Preliminary Voters of Register scheduled to commence on Monday, 15th to Sunday, 21st December 2025.
In a Media Release by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), in the State Prof. Adeniran Rahmon Tella noted that the Display would be also be as from 9am to 3pm across all the 33 INEC Local Government Area Offices of the State.
Prof. Tella stated further that, the essence of the Display was to pave way for necessary corrections, validation and adjustments which would take place on Sunday the 21st December 2025 accordingly.
The Hon. REC however called on all registered voters to visit their respective LGA INEC Offices to verify their names, report any errors, omissions or cases of underaged or deceased persons and submit claims and objections where necessary through the designated forms available at the Display Centers.
He noted that, the second phase of the CVR exercise would also resume as from Monday, the 5th January 2026 in all the 33 INEC LGA Offices, including the State Office accordingly.
