Socialite Cubana Chief Priest Announces Reps Ambition

ABUJA — PASCAL Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has announced his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The nightlife entrepreneur disclosed his ambition in a video posted online, showing him at the APC secretariat in Imo State interacting with party stakeholders.
In the post, he confirmed that he is vying to represent the Oru East/Orsu/Orlu Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
“I am ready to serve my people,” he said, describing his decision as a step towards giving back to his community.
“This is about contributing to the development of our constituency and ensuring our people are properly represented,” he added.
The announcement underscores a growing wave of entertainers and high-profile figures signalling interest in elective positions as political activities gradually build ahead of the 2027 general elections.
