Idris Ajimobi Sympathises with Victims Of Apata Fire Outbreak

Hon. Idris Ajimobi has sympathised with the victims of Apata fire disaster.
Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that the APC candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat representing the Ibadan Southwest state constituency II, Hon. Idris Abolaji Abiola – Ajimobi has sympathised with the residents of Apata in Ibadan, over the tragic incident of the fire outbreak which gutted the area in a petrol tanker accident leaving several properties razed.
In a statement issued by his Executive Assistant, Lateef Alade, Hon. Idris Abolaji Abiola – Ajimob expressed sadness at the occurrence, describing it as unfortunate, noting that he received the news of the incident and the attendant loss of property with sadness.
Ajimobi said, “I received the depressing news of the petrol tanker fire accident in Apata area of Ibadan with sadness. The immediate impact of damage and destruction to properties plus disruption of business activities in the area is unfortunate.
“I condole with the victims and wish those injured speedy recovery, while praying that God will restore the losses in multiple fold.
Motorists are also urged the be extra careful this season and adhere to safety precautions to avert a reoccurrence of such incidents.
Idris Ajimobi commended the state fire service for promptly putting off the fire and called on the state government for sustained rescue operations while looking forward to a quick return of normalcy to return to the area.
