The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, has lauded the activities of the CEO, Leovest Reassuring Hands Foundation, Awodiran Olatunji, in establishing a food-bank – first of its kind in the state.
Governor Adeleke while appreciating the UK-Based Nigerian for feeding the widows, lifting the downtrodden, and sponsoring the education of brilliant but indigent students among other life-touching initiatives during distribution of the food items in Ibokun acknowledged the consistency of the program.
In his address, Governor Adeleke said, “I’m so impressed at the level of consistent displayed by the Leovest Foundation in the last 10 months for the distribution of food items to widows in Ibokun region of the state, irrespective of tribe, religion and political affiliation.”
While appreciating the governor for identifying with Leovest foundation, the Ibokun born philanthropist, who disclosed that the foundation was founded in 2022, explained that its mission is to create a space where compassion meets action to make impact in the world.
According to the son of the late Sajowa of Ibokun, “I envision a world where individuals are given the opportunity to thrive, irrespective of their circumstances, and this vision fuels my dedication to making a difference.”
