“My driving force is nothing is too difficult to achieve. Whatever you are scared of is what is controlling you. You need to take bold steps to surmount obstacles. In her remarks, the Ace newscaster MS Wuraola Yusuff appreciated the Almighty Allah for making this day a reality

“I want to thank Almighty Allah for giving me the opportunity of seeing this day. Few years ago, I fasted and prayed for days because I wanted to gain admission into the mighty “first and the best” and today, I bagged a degree from the same University. I must confess, it feels so surreal. One thing I can never forget in this journey was a UTME tutor telling me to pick another school because I can’t make it into UI. I took that as a challenge and did no other POST UTME asides from University of Ibadan’s own. I am so proud of myself because I made it. The cries, prayers and midnight reading struggles paid so well. All I can say is ALHAMDULILLAH.”

The event was attended by head of English program Agidigbo 88:7FM, Mr Adedotun Amosun, Head of Yoruba Program, Aare Olabode Anisoloja, Head of newsroom Ms Olamide Badmus, Wura’s mother, Mrs Adeola Yusuff, Wura’s husband, Mr Osuolale Qudus Agbolahan Ms Memunat Yusuff and a host of others.
