Birthday: Oluyole LG Boss, Olatunji Felicitates Oyo Hospital Mgt. Board Chairman, Fagbemi

IBADAN – The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has expressed felicitations to Dr. Akin Fagbemi, the former Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) and the new Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board.

In a congratulatory birthday anniversary message released on Tuesday, Olatunji described Dr. Fagbemi as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to the development of Oyo State are visible and commendable.

He highlighted Dr. Fagbemi’s transformative leadership during his tenure at OYRTMA, which brought significant improvements to road safety and traffic management across the state.

He stated that Dr Fagbemi is not a ‘green horn’ in public administration as he has an impressive reputation from his days at NAFDAC, describing his appointment by governor Makinde as a round peg in a round hole.

“On this special day, I join countless others in celebrating a man of vision, integrity, and excellence. Dr. Akin Fagbemi has consistently demonstrated a passion for service and the well-being of our people.

“His appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board is a testament to his commitment to progress and development,” Olatunji said.

The Oluyole LG Chairman also wished Dr. Fagbemi a year filled with good health, prosperity, and greater accomplishments in his new designation.

While expressing confidence that Dr. Fagbemi’s zeal and dedication to service would continue to be brought to bear in the healthcare services as he did with road transport management, Olatunji expressed optimism that the board and Oluyole LG will continue to be partners in progress for quality and easy access to healthcare system at the grassroots.
