Drama In Palace, As Olubadan-in-Council Disagree With Newly Introduced Sharing Formula

IBADAN – There was a mild drama at the Olubadan Palace at Oke Aremo lbadan, during the week, when members of the Olubadan-in-Council, turned down an offer by the Olubadan over the proceeds from the installation of new Baales and Mogajis.
The Council members were reported to have vehemently rejected the sharing formular just introduced by the incumbent Kabiyesi ,which to them, was in sharp contrast with his predecessor 2 to 1 sharing ratio.

Sources, close to the Palace revealed that out of the millions generated at the installation, only partry sum of two hundred thousand Naira each were given out to them. However, the situation which could have degenerated to dis-orderliness, was brought under control by the Obas themselves.
They, however registered their displeasure over the development, urging the monarch to review the sharing formular to forestall unnecessary misunderstanding.
