Fixing Federal Roads Key To Reduction Of Food Prices, Says Hon Oseni•••Donates N10m For Upkeep Of Oyo APC Secretariat

IBADAN – The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Hon. Aderemi Oseni has on Monday reassured Nigerians that the cost of all essential commodities including the food items will soon be reduced to normal price as soon as all the federal government roads are fixed.
Hon Oseni noted that the federal government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ready to fix all the federal roads across the nation.
Stressing that the project is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu in alleviating the suffering of Nigerians in this current economic hardship.

The Federal Lawmaker, Hon Oseni, who is currently representing the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber speaking during a thank-you visit to All Progressive Congress (APC) Secretariat in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State maintained that President Tinubu has declared state of emergency on all federal roads across the nation.
He frowned at deplorable condition of federal roads across the nation, saying Nigerians will soon begin to see good changes on the roads.
He urged Nigerians to calm down and give President Tinubu more time to fix Nigeria, adding that Nigerians will tank Tinubu in years to come for the foundation he is laying for the interest of the country.
“Tinubu is not the cause of the challenges we are currently facing including bad roads across the nation, the challenges goes beyond the current administration, Tinubu is trying to ensure that all problems created by previous administrations are resolve.
“Nigerians will soon begin to feel the impact of this government, the prices of food commodities will soon reduce to normal price in the market as soon as our road which are currently in deplorable state are fixed.
Speaking on purpose of his visit to APC Secretariat, Oseni said, “I’m here to condole with our party over the demise of our chairman, late Isaac Omodewu, and also to say thank you to our party faithfuls for their support toward my emergence, I’m also here to brainstorm with the party on how the party will regained power in the state come 2027.
“I’m urging members of our party to join hands as a stakeholders and foster unity, I’m also calling on all the executives of the party to come up with a blue print that will return the our noble party to power in 2027.” Oseni said.
In his remarks, the acting Chairman of the party, Alhaji Olaide Abass thanked Oseni for deem it fit to visited the party Secretariat, saying the party is proud of his giant stride of touching lives of his constituents.
Highlight of the event include donation of N10 million for operational allowance to the party Secretariat by the lawmaker.
