Governors Meet In Abuja Ahead Thursday’s NEC Meeting

ABUJA – The 36 state governors under the umbrella of Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) are currently meeting in the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja ahead of the National Executive Council Meeting Thursday.
The agenda of the meeting obtained by our Correspondent indicates that several topical issues would be discussed including updates on Local Government Autonomy, as well as updates on United Nations General Assembly among others.
It was learnt that Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Director General, Department of State Security, H.E. Namadi Sambo, former Vice-President, Chair of Delegation, African Medical Excellence Center, and Engr. Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC Ltd) are billed to brief the governors.
