Amb. Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, the Deputy National Chairman South of the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM) sent a condolence message to the family of Governor Akeredolu and the entire people of Ondo State.
The news of the death of the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, has left the people of the state in a state of shock and many heartbroken. A senior government official made this known at the early hour of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, and since then, many have been sending their condolence messages and prayers to comfort the family and the people of the state.
Amb. Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, the deputy national chairman of CAGraM, who also hails from Akoko in Ondo State, has joined other well-meaning Nigerians who have sent their condolence messages to the families of the deceased and good people of the state.
Agbi Stephen in a press statement made available to journalists described Governor Akeredolu as an accomplished professional and a party man who is committed to the growth and development of the people of Ondo State.
He uses this opportunity to urge members of the family to remain steadfast and strong in these trying times.In his words, this sad development means that the deputy governor will now be sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.
He therefore advised the deputy governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to follow in the footsteps of the governor and to improve on the legacy he left behind as he steered the affairs of the state.
He prayed that God would give him and the entire members of the state the fortitude to bear the loss.
