(ICYMI): 379,997 Candidates To Retake 2025 UTME

ABUJA – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that about 379,997 candidates in the just concluded 2025 examination would retake the examination.
Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede who revealed this on Wednesday in Abuja, said the decision to allow some candidates retake the examination, followed widespread complaints of technical glitches, which resulted in abysmally low scores.
Prof. Oloyede, while admitting the glitches fell short of shedding tears.
He was observed to be speaking with pains in his heart, while intermittently wiping his face with a handkerchief.
He said he took full responsibility for the negligence of its staff, revealing that 65 centres in Lagos and 92 centres in Owerri Zone covering the five states in the South East, would rewrite the exam.
