Just In: Akpabio Emerges Senate President

Senator Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Akwa Ibom State, has emerged the winner of head counts in a voting to elect the President of the 10th Senate of the National Assembly.
Naijanewshub.com.ng gathered that Akpabio clinched victory after a rather contentious process where he was pitched against Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Zamfara State governor.
