Major General Eric Emekah Assumes Office As GOC Of 6 Division Nigerian Army

PORT HARCOURT – Major General Eric Emekah, has assumed duty as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, pledging to surpass the 2.3 million barrels per day target set by the Federal Government in the oil sector.
Major General Emekah, stated this upon assumption of office as the GOC 6 division, Nigerian army.
The Army Chief is also expected to double as the Land Components Commander, Joint Task Force South South Operation Delta Safe.
The new GOC assumed command following military formalities and courtesies at the 6 division headquarters over the weekend in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Major General Emekah while giving his maiden address thanked the Chief of Army Staff for his appointment, charged troops to work hard to surpass the achievements of the division and federal government target of 2.3 million barrel per day.
While setting a new target of 2.5 million barrel per day, Major General Emekah promised to lead by example.
