Mass Defection: Hon Olakunle ‘Shete’ Leads Hundreds Of SDP Loyalists To PDP, Praises Makinde’s Inclusive Approach

IBADAN – The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon Olakunle Akinsete has defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon Shete who doubles as a board member representing Oyo South in Oyo Housing Corporation left the Social Democratic Party (SDP) alongside hundreds of his supporters.

While addressing the party loyalists present a the declaration ground, UMC School, Molete Ibadan, the 2023 House of Assembly candidate under SDP commended the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his inclusive approach.
Shete linked Governor Makinde’s all inclusive governance style to his defection to PDP fold.
He said, “Governor Makinde since assumption into office as the Executive Governor of Oyo State has proved the critics wrong. He has changed the narrative of governance in the state, we just need to support him so he can achieve his set agendas for the state.
