Nigeria Hails Namibia On Its 35th Independence Anniversary

ABUJA – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, extended Nigeria’s warm congratulations to the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency, Peya Mushelenga on the occasion of their Country’s Independence Anniversary.
Amb. Tuggar gave the congratulatory message in a statement signed by his ministry Spokesperson, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa on Friday in Abuja.
The statement reads in parts; “As Namibia marks 35 years of freedom and self-determination, Nigeria joins the global community in celebrating this significant milestone in Namibia’s history. Namibia’s journey to independence on March 21, 1990, remains a testament to the resilience and unwavering spirit of its people in the face of adversity.
