Nollywood Mourns As Veteran Actor Asa Koko Dies

LAGOS – The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Asa Koko. The actor passed away after battling an undisclosed illness for over two years.
The news of his passing was shared by actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod on his Instagram page, where he paid tribute to the late star.
“May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko hmmmm. It’s a WRAP,” Afod wrote in a heartfelt message.
Afod also posted a video from his last visit to Asa Koko’s home, where the late actor candidly spoke about his deteriorating health and showed his swollen leg, a visible sign of his long-term illness.
During his battle with the undisclosed ailment, Asa Koko—who was known for marrying ten wives—revealed that the state governor had visited him in the hospital while he was receiving treatment.
