Oyo Ex-Finance Commissioner, Adekanmbi, Resigns From APC

IBADAN – A former Commissioner for Finance and Deputy Chief of Staff in late Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State’s government, Mr Abimbola Adekanmbi, has tendered his letter of resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adekanmbi, who also ran on the platform of the APC as a senatorial aspirant in 2023, in a letter to the Chairman of the party in his Ward 1,
Ibadan North East Local Government, did not give reasons why he left the party.
The letter, which he also copied to the Chairman APC, Ward 4, Ona Ara Local Government and the State Chairman APC, Oke Ado, IIbadan, read thus: “I hereby formally tender my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“This marks the close of a significant chapter in my political journey — one that began from the very inception of the Party. Through seasons of growth and challenge, I have remained steadfast in my commitment and I am grateful for the honour to contribute, in my own way, to the service and progress of our dear Oyo State.
“Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside passionate men and women at the Ward, Local Government, State, and National levels. Together, we shared moments of purpose, built enduring bonds, and shaped collective memories that I will always hold dear.
I extend my sincere good wishes to the APC and to its members, as I continue to Pray for the continued growth and progress of our dearly beloved Oyo State.”
