Ooni Of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Joins World Leaders In Kazakhstan, Speaks On Potentials Of Africa’s Economy

IBADAN – The Ooni of Ife and Natural Leader of the Oduduwa Rare worldwide, Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi yesterday delivered a loaded speech on unity, leadership and cultural diplomacy at the Astana International Forum held in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan. saying Nigeria is a safe haven for profitable foreign investments.
Other world leaders who also spoke at the epoch event are; the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of North Macedonia, Prime Minister of Italy, former Sec Gen. of the United Nations(UN) and President of Republic of Rwanda, Dr. Paul Kagame, among others.
Ooni, the Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council(SNTRC) and Co-chairman, National Council Of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria(NCTRN) who was officially invited on a 5 day visit to Kazakhstan by the country’s president has been working on facilitating a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Africa, particularly Nigeria assured the business community in Kazakhstan of the readiness of the Federal Government of Nigeria under president Bola Tinubu to provide a motivating enabling business environment for them as he woos for Foreign Direct Investments to Nigeria. He functions as Chairman, Nigeria – Kazakhstan Business Forum.
“Let me first express my profound appreciation to the president of Kazakhstan for the invitation he had personally extended to me to come and discuss how the business environment in Africa and Nigeria in particular will be so beneficial to them in area of Foreign Direct Investments.
“I’m also happy that Mr Paul Kagame who is the president of Rwanda is here too. He is a living witness to the economic and business potentials in Africa and even in my country Nigeria. Let me be specific about my country Nigeria which is the most populous black nation in the world.
“We are more than 250 million and this population of Nigeria represents a very huge market for your manufactured products here in Kazakhstan and I can assure you that the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu has started yielding results. Gone are the days when Foreign investors would be skeptical to invest in Nigeria.
“Today, our economy is waxing stronger by the day and the safety of your investments is assured with multinational companies springing up everyday”. Ooni said.
The Rwanda’s foreign minister, who equally doubles as a panelist during the Africa season at the International business Forum expressed his satisfaction that the Ooni of Ife represents saying that the monarchy in Africa has shown capacity to impressively back the continent’s governments for economic development of the various governments in Africa.
He thanked Ooni Ogunwusi who he described as “African Royal Leader Of Our Time”, encouraging the other monarchs in Africa to emulate the Ooni of Ife.
