Police Arrest Suspected Lakurawa Logistics Suppliers In Kebbi

BIRNIN KEBBI – KEBBI state Police Command,on Tuesday said that it has arrested two persons for allegedly supplying hard drugs in form Indian hemp to Lakurawa terrorist in Kangiwa local government area of Kebbi state.
SP Bashir Usman, in a statement identified
the suspects as Hamza Aliyu and Aliyu Ahmadu all males of same address.
According to him, the arrest was made possible following credible information that at Kangiwa border axis some people believed to be supplying narcotics to Lakurawa terrorist were seen around the border, before they could move the Police arrived and arrested them immediately.
Usman added that both suspects are now in Police custody and will be charge to court after investigations are concluded.
In a related development, however, the tactical squad and anti kidnapping unit of the Police arrested in yet another operation at Bagudo local government area of Kebbi state two alleged kidnappers identified as Sani Bature and Rabiu Bature with AK47 rifle with 611 live ammunitions and a locally made bullet proof vest.
