The Community head of Ijaiye-Ojutaye in AFIJIO Local Government area of Oyo state, Chief Esuola Oladosu has on Sunday commended a Poland-Based Non Governmental Organisation for remembering the community for good for the provision of Sola light bulbs, solar light sub stations as well as solar charging ports to no fewer than 90 homes in the community.
The project, according to the Co-founder of the solar powered light, Mr. Peter Akinmolaya of the Energypro Lightup Foundation Nigeria worth millions of naira and was made possible by Polska Fundacja Dla Afryki.
However, Four charging kiosks were given to four nearby villages to relief the communities from long darkness.

The excited Baale could not hide his joy as he was visibly on ground for hours just to cut the ribbons of the project despite his age.The Baale in his words said, “This solar light project would go along way in reducing electricity problem community has been having over 10 years ago which government has failed to find solutions to it.”
In his words, Mr. Peter Akinmolayan said “the project was a followup from previous school light up project in the community earlier this year.
Peter Akinmolayan a Poland based waste renewal and energy expert said, “We came to this village few years ago, we saw an NGO school providing free education to people in the communities, so we thought education without electricity is not complete, moving around the village, we discovered that they lack electricity, so we promised to come back and assist them.”
“We are trying to extend the gesture to other communities, so instead of leaving them behind, we decide to give each village on the road a charging point so that even if the people in the area don’t have electricity, we can still solve the problem of charging their phones and rechargable lamps, we are doing it for free.”
Akinmolayan however urged the beneficiaries to utilized the facilities effectively, calling on Nigerians in diaspora to come back home and contribute their quota towards the progress and development of their respective communities.The Youth leader of the community, Iyanda Suara and others that spoke with journalists commended the facilitator of the project.In a separate engagements with the pressmen, all the residents interviewed expressed their satisfaction over the project.
Suara said, “We have been having electricity problem since 2006, we use to go to far distance before we can charge our phones and lamps, this project is a great relief for people in this community and others nearby.”
The event was graced by both the youth, adults, old, men and women of Ijaiye-Ojutaye communities, as well as well wishers and friends of Peter Akinmolayan of EnergyPro such as Pamela, Ralph among others.
