2027: Opposition Party leaders Hold Summit In Ibadan Ahead Of General Elections

IBADAN — FORMER Vice-President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday arrived in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, for a high-level summit of opposition political leaders hosted by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The gathering has drawn a formidable array of political figures from across Nigeria, including former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
Also present at the summit are Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi; former Senate President David Mark; elder statesman Jerry Gana; former governor Saminu Turaki; and political economist Pat Utomi, among others.
