2027: ROCOF Targets One Million Votes For Tinubu’s Re-Election — Oseni

IBADAN – THE President of Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), Hon. Aderemi Oseni, has said the group is mobilising at least one million votes across Oyo State to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
Oseni, who is also the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), stated this at the first anniversary and endorsement rally of the ROCOF Progressive Workers and Traders Association held in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State.
Addressing a large gathering of traders, artisans and political leaders, Oseni described President Tinubu as “a visionary reformer whose Renewed Hope Agenda is laying a solid foundation for a prosperous Nigeria.”
He said the ROCOF structure, built from the grassroots, had become a veritable platform to support the President’s developmental agenda and advance progressive governance in Oyo State.
“Our target is simple and achievable. We are determined to deliver one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election,” Oseni said. “Oyo State will not only support him; we will stand as a model of Renewed Hope through our collective efforts, discipline and unity of purpose.”
Oseni explained that ROCOF, which started as an advocacy platform for empowerment and good governance, has grown into a strong socio-political movement with presence in all local government areas of the state.
He said the association’s Six-Point Agenda focuses on empowering traders, promoting workers’ welfare, supporting women and youth participation, and enhancing community development.
The lawmaker, who represents Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, urged members of the association to intensify grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 polls.
“Our victory will not come by chance but by deliberate effort and strategic engagement. We must mobilize, educate and sensitize our people about the Renewed Hope Agenda. Every ROCOF member must become a messenger of progress,” he said.
Oseni commended workers, traders and artisans across the state for their resilience, assuring them that their welfare remains central to his leadership. He noted that ROCOF’s empowerment and social intervention programmes — including the Soludero Movement — had already touched thousands of lives across Oyo communities.
The Coordinator of the ROCOF Progressive Workers and Traders Association, Alhaji Munirudeen Rauf, thanked Oseni for his dedication to the welfare of artisans and traders.
Rauf reaffirmed the association’s loyalty to both Oseni and President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Our firm belief in our president, Hon. Engr. (Dr.) Aderemi Abass Oseni’s commitment to the upliftment of all and sundry — exemplified in the ₦100 million empowerment of the Blacksmith, Welders, Iron Bender and Metal Technician Association of Nigeria (BWIAN), Oyo State Chapter — birthed the ROCOF Progressive Workers and Traders Association,” he said.
He added that the association shares President Tinubu’s vision for national prosperity and is declaring its total support for his second term bid.
