Oyo APP governorship candidate has felicitated with Muslim faithful over Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that Governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party APP in Oyo State for the 2023 gubernatorial polls , Asiwaju Dr. Yinus Kazeem Ayandoye has felicitated with muslims across the state just as he called on adherents of the two major religion to pray for the unity , peace and stability of the country as it prepare’s for the 2023 general elections.
Ayandoye gave the charge in a congratulatory message he personally signed to rejoice with Muslim faithfuls on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
He urged muslims, to make frantic efforts to emulate the virtues of the Holy Prophet, (S.A.W) whose life is a perfect example to humanity.
He said “We must make sacrifices for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbours and of course, our country” he said adding that the significance of the Islamic celebration has a huge positive impact in enhancing the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria as well as the nation’s efforts in surmounting its security, socio-economic and public health challenges.”
He enjoined eligible Nigerians yet to get their permanent voter card (pvc) to take advantage of the extension by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) do so in order to exercise their civic responsibilities.
