Fish Out Killers Of Nigerian Breweries’ Top Manager, Ibadan Residents Charge Oyo CP

Residents of Ibadan, Oyo State capital are calling on the Police authority in the state to fish out those who killed Fatai Olukayode Lawal who was the Brewery Business Controller at the Nigerian Breweries, Ibadan.
Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that Lawal, according to sources, occupied a position that gave him responsibility for checks and accountability in the company which he joined about 20 years ago.
Late afternoon of 21st March saw Kayode driving on the Airport Road with a few friends towards the airport.
Two men riding a motorcycle double-crossed the party. One of the two assailants brandished an AK47 assault rifle and shot the NB chief in the head and chest before speeding off.
Eyewitness account close to the Kasko area on the road said the incident happened so fast that nobody could react on time to the event immediately.
It took several minutes before the women in the party were able to raise some help and take him to the hospital. Police at New Gbagi Division were said to have promptly referred the matter to the state CID.
Authoritative sources indicated that efforts to crack the case have not yielded fruit as at the time of filing this report.
The top manager who was said to be loving in Bodija Estate, Ibadan had met his untimely death on the eve of retirement.
Observers expressed worry at such a dastardly with the pace unable to locate the victims.
