As part of their commitment to nurturing the youth of the State, the organizers of the Oyo State Most Influential Award Series, Ibadan Media Limited, in collaboration with the office of Oyo State’s Youth of the Year, a category under her award series, has unveils the Youth Empowerment Program for 2023.
This empowering initiative is organized in commemoration of the 2023 International Youth Day and is a feature of the Most Influential Awards Empowerment program, driven by a dedicated team committed to nurturing the potential of Oyo State’s residents.
The program that was scheduled for Friday, 29th of September, 2023 at the University of Ibadan Hotel hall, themed “Empower Youth for A Sustainable Future.”
In a statement released by Mr. Olalekan Olanrewaju Ola, the executive producer of the Most Influential Award Series and the Chief publisher of Ibadan Media Ltd, he noted, that, one of the primary objectives of the program is to impart knowledge on practical steps that young people can take to build a sustainable future for themselves. It aims to facilitate a significant mindset shift, fuel motivation, and foster connections and networking among like-minded youth, business leaders, role models, and mentors.
“This event is not just to motivate the participants like many conferences will, but to practically and physically impart youth with something they can lay their hands on immediately,” Ola noted.
Distinguished individuals with exemplary track records in youth development and empowerment will grace this occasion. The keynote speaker is the immediate commissioner for youth and sports in Oyo State, Dr. Seun Fakorede.
Adding to the program’s list of speakers are the winners and runners-up of the Oyo Youth of the Year category as part of their responsibility of imparting valuable skills and knowledge to the youth of Oyo State, a testament to their commitment as stewards of the Oyo Youth of the Year Award.
Some of the areas of empowerment include Mastering the Art of Event Excellence, to be taken by Olamide Agbomeji, the winner of 2021 Oyo State Youth of the Year, Chief Pharmacist at Greenplus Pharmacy, and an Event planner per excellence. She will share her expertise in Event Planning and Management and also provide invaluable insights into the world of event planning and offer practical guidance on forging a career in events management.
Crafting Exceptional Digital Content will be taken by Yousuph Adebayo Grey, 2nd runner-up of the 2022 Oyo State Youth of the Year, and HOS Agidigbo 88.7fm. He will unravel the secrets of crafting exceptional digital content and guide the youth through the art of content creation and content marketing.
Finally, the current Oyo State Youth of the Year winner for 2022, Mr. Olaide Alim, will delve into the realm of legal resilience for internet startups. He will enlighten the youth on harnessing the potential of their digital devices to work and earn online.
