Ayanlade Olushola Replaces CSP Adewale Osifeso As Oyo Police Command Spokesperson

IBADAN   –  THE Nigeria Police Force has deployed DSP Ayanlade Olushola Olayinka as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan.

 

DSP Ayanlade takes over from CSP Osifeso Adewale, who has been redeployed to another assignment within the Force.

 

The newly appointed spokesperson was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) on December 19, 2019.

 

Olushola is an alumnus of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, where he belonged to Regular Course Two (RC2) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 2019.

 

A seasoned police officer and investigator, DSP Ayanlade has served in various operational and administrative capacities, including Operations Officer and Departmental Team Leader. Until his recent deployment to Oyo State, he was the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command.

 

DSP Ayanlade is a member of several professional bodies, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), USA; the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA), USA (Kansas); and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Abuja.

 

He also holds a Master’s degree in Criminology and Security Studies and has attended several professional courses, including Cyber Diplomacy and UN Disarmament Education (UNDE), Police Mobile Combat Training at Ila-Orangun, Osun State, Anti-Corruption Course by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and Outstanding Transnational Organized Crime Course by UNODC.

 

The Oyo State Police Command expressed confidence in DSP Ayanlade’s capacity to enhance police–public communication and sustain effective information management across the state.
