Christendom Mourns As Bishop Theophilus Ajose Is Dead

LAGOS — THE Church in Nigeria has been thrown into mourning as news went round on Sunday morning that Bishop Dr Theophilus Taiwo Ajose is dead.
Bishop Ajose, one of the leading voices for Christians in the country, died on Saturday night in Lagos
Dr Ajose, a renown intercessor and global prophet, is the Presiding Bishop of Bishop Ajose International Ministries.
Until his sudden death, Bishop Ajose, who had been playing major roles in encouraging Christians to join politics, belonged to several Christian groups, including the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CAN) and the Renewed Ministers for Christ (RMC) of which he was the National Secretary.
Ajose was the pioneer Director, Directorate of Politics and Governance (DPG), the political arm of the Lagos PFN, and the Director General, Centre for Politics and Governance (CPG), the political arm of the RMC.
He was also the Special Adviser (General Duties) to Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the Lagos CAN Chairman and Executive Secretary, National Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), among several other key positions.
Although, the cause of death is still unknown as he was reportedly well, strong and hearty, condolences have been pouring in to the Ajose family, even as most social media platiforms are awash with messages of his shocking death.
Bishop Ajose celebrated his 60th birthday last year.
