A federal High court sitting in Kano on Tuesday barred Kano anti Corruption Complaints Commission from investigating the APC, National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over a viral alleged bribery video.
The Kano Agency had last year announced plans to investigate Dr. Umar Ganduje, the immediate past governor of Kano state over the contentious dollar video broadcast by Daily Nigeria.
The presiding judge, Justice Liman in an epic ruling on Tuesday said “it’s a federal offence, and only a federal agency has the power to conduct investigations on it.”
