Pastor Adeboye has identified problems facing Nigeria as country.

Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday stated some of the reasons why Nigeria is faced with series of problem, saying that the kings had been sidelined from governance.

Pastor Adeboye speaking at the International Conference Center University of Ibadan while declaring open the 40th Holy Ghost Convention of The Sword of the Spirit Ministry themed The Kings of Glory maintained that the reason we have some of the problems we have in our country today is because they have tampered with the power of our kings.

He said, “If we restore the dignity, the ability and glory of our kings all will be well. That is why in Yoruba land we call them Alashe, those one who ruled by decree. That is it.

Speaking from the scriptures, Pastor Adeboye made use of Genesis Chapter 1:3, Psalm 20:10, Ecclesiastes 8:4, to back up his preaching.

He said, “God is the one that who ruled with decree and you cannot query him, He is the someone that will do what he wants and nobody can query him.

“The Lord is the God of host, he has power over angels and demons, He’s the Commander in chief, the host of life, the Satan, wizard, witches need to take order from Him before they can do anything.” Adeboye said.

In his welcome address, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, Presiding Bishop, Sword of The Spirit Ministries and President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria said, “about Forty years ago, the maiden edition was held in the city of Ilorin, since then it had become a platform of the move of God, providing believers of all denominations opportunities to be blessed, empowered and to enjoy rich fellowship and divine connection of all kinds.

“The convention has been significantly used to provide strategic shift in the plan and move of God for our nation, we trust God to do it again at this crucial time in our history. We have returned therefore at this 40th edition to first celebrate and give thanks to God Almighty, the king of Glory and then to connect with His glory in a new way. He said.

While speaking on the theme of the convention Bishop Wale Oke said, “It is awesome what happens when the Kings of Glory steps into any situation, He turns the captivities and move His people from glory to glory.
