IBADAN – No fewer than twenty personalities received awards of honour at the the 3rd Edition of Journalist Olawale Ogunbusola School Competition & Awards held at National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye, Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State.
Delivering a keynote lecture, a professor of Urban Planning & Environmental Management, Lead City University, Ibadan, Professor Grace Oloukoi titled,’ Youth Inclusion as a force:Towards Climate Adaption and Environmental Stewardship’, the University scholar while emphasizing the trends in climate change realities, including flooding, drought and desertification, noted that climate change as a catastrophic is yet driven by human activities posing significant threat to the planet’s ecosystems, economies and societies.
The Assistant Chief Nursing officer with University College Hospital,Ibadan and Director, Oyiza Orphanage And Foster Foundation, Mrs Joy Taiwo lamented negative effects of teenage pregnancy in Nigeria, urging other parents and other education stakeholders to give adequate care and monitoring of teenagers for an improved socio-economic development.
The Chief Executive Officer, Afriwomen Entrepreneurship Initiative, Mrs Adebukola Oso, LLM (UK) called government, private sector and non- governmental organizations must work together to make entrepreneurial education a core part of national curriculum for self development and reduction in poverty among Nigerians.
The chairman of the event who doubles special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Interfaith, Rev. Dr. Femi Ibikunle commended the convener, said the government of Our State will continue to give enabling environment for young talents development.
The father of the occasion, who doubles the founder of Prince 89.7FM, Barrister Dr. Babatunde Balogun Oruomeniowo, represented by Head Of Operations II, Boluwaji Ogunyemi-Jacobs while calling for an improved creativity among Nigerians, described the convener as an ever hardworking and focused personality.

Earlier in his welcome address, Olawale Ogunbusola, (FEIPA), appreciated sponsors, mentors, invited schools and government of Our State for support and co-operation, added that he would continue to use his resources for the lifting of education sector.
