Ngelale explained that the President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France.

The statement was however silent on the motive for the President’s trip.

Recall that the President had barred unauthorised officials of government to stay away from the forthcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) which usually held in the United States.

The presidency had hinged the directive on the need to reduce bloated governance cost, especially as unauthorised officials in the past travel on the sidelines of such trips for personal interests.

The directive was handed down to officials of government by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajiabiamila during a one day retreat organised by State House management for Heads of Agencies under the presidency.
