PROTEST: Akpabio Summons Emergency Session Over Looming Nationwide Anti-Gov’t Rallies

ABUJA – The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has summoned an emergency session of the Red Chamber ahead of the planned nationwide protest said to take August 1 to August 10.
This is according to an internal memorandum from the Senate Clerk saying the Senate emergency session is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 31 July, 2024.
