Missing director of research and statistic of Ondo TESCOM has been found dead.
Naijanewshub.com.ng gathered that Director in the Department of Research and Statistics of Ondo State Teaching Service Commission(TESCOM), Gbenga Olofingboyegun, has been found beheaded.
The Spokesperson for the state Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami, a Superintendent of Police(SP) disclosed on Sunday in the state capital, Akure, that a body was found beheaded but could not confirmed the identity of the body.
Olofingboyegun was declared missing on Thursday by his family when he failed to return home after office hours.
He was said to have dressed in suit while leaving for office on Thursday but didn’t return home. Suspecting that he might have been a victim of kidnappers, his family and friends were waiting to receive calls from his abductors to name the ransom for his release.
But unfortunately their expectation never came to reality as Olofingboyegun’s mutilated and decomposing body was found on Sunday at Saint Theresa’s Primary School, which shares compound with St.Peter’s Unity Secondary School, Oyemekun Road, Akure.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the victim’s head and some sensitive parts were severed and taken away by his abductors.
He was said to have remained in the suit and tie he wore when he left home for office on Thursday morning.
