Tinubu Approves Redeployment Of 16 Perm Secretaries

ABUJA – President Bola Tinubu, has approved the redeployment of 16 serving Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
A release on Wednesday signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation,
Mrs. Didi Esther WaIson-Jack, said the
redeployment takes effect from Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
WaIson-Jack, said the handing over and taking over processes should be completed on or before Wednesday, 26th November, 2025.
The Permanent Secretaries redeployed include Engr. Funsho Adebiyi, who moves from Works to Transportation Ministry;
Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana from Aviation and Aerospace Development to General Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation(OSGF);
Dr. Yakubu Adam Kofarmata goes from Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to Aviation and Aerospace
Development.
Others are Mrs. Nko Asanye Esuabana, Innovation,Science & Technology to Women Affairs; Mr. Richard Pheelangwa from Water Resources and Sanitation, moves to Defence ;Mr. Raymond Omenka Omachi , from Finance (Special Duties) to Finance Ministry. He is expected to understudy Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya.
Dr. Deborah Oyindamola Odoh, from Service Policies & Strategies Office (OHCSF), is redeployed to Budget and Economic Planning ; Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya, from Youth Development goes to Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty
Reduction while Dr. Emeka Vitalis Obi, Petroleum Resources, moves to Federal Civil Service Commission as
Mrs. Fatima Sugra Tabi’a Mahmood from Career Management Office (OHCSF), moves to Marine and Blue Economy, where she is expected to understudy Mr. Olufemi Michael Oloruntola.
Other Permanent Secretaries affected by the redeployment include Dr. Emanso Okop Umobong, Cabinet Affairs Office (OSGF) moves to Water Resources and Sanitation; Dr. Maryam Ismaila Keshinro ,Women Affairs to Youth Development; Mr. Ndiomu Philip Ebiogeh, from Federal Civil
Service Commission to Innovation, Science & Technology; Engr. Nadungu Gagare, Economic & Political Affairs (OSGF) to Communications, Innovation & Digital
Economy; Mrs. Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso, Service Welfare Office (OHCSF) to Petroleum Resources Ministry and
Mr. Adeladan Rafiu Olarinre, from Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy to Works Ministry.
