One of the buildings at Opadoyin compound belonging to former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala was, on Monday , razed down by inferno.
Two lives were reportedly lost with some valuables reduced to a rumble inferno.
A source told journalists that the inferno started around 7:50 a.m. and it was likely caused by a power surge.
One of the victims died immediately while the other one gave up the ghost at Bowen Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso where she was rushed to for proper medical care.
One of the survivors simply identified as Mr. Jumo, said he woke up at about 8.00 a.m. when he noticed smoke from a part of the building but he didn’t know was the cause.
Sympathizers and political associates of the late governor have been visiting the house to commiserate with the Alao-Akalas over the incident.
