Why I Ventured Into Acting – Nollywood Actress, Ego Nwosu

IBADAN – Nollywood Actress, Ego Nwosu has revealed what influenced her decision into pursuing a career in acting.
The Edo born actress in a recent engagement with the pressmen said that her love for drama and acting started when she was in the school.
She noted that her passion and love for acting also made her the head of drama Club in her school.

She says that “I feel like I have always meant to do this. I used to lead drama club in my school and I loved to tell stories. My school mates would gather around my dorm on Saturdays just to hear me telling them my stories. It was so satisfying.
“I was nervous on my first day on movie set and it took the intervention of friendly movie team to calm me down.”
“It wasn’t as easy task, as it seemed because I wasn’t so sure of the reactions I would get from my directors.”
“But the rest of the cast were quite friendly. It was really stressful, I literally disappeared from acting after that shoot, she added.
While reacting to the question about the movie that brought her to limelight, the Edo born actress says “I think the first movie I did that got a lot of attention was “To All The broken hearted”. This movie changed a whole lots about my perception of movies.
