“Oyo Maiden Edition Of Real Estate To Showcase New Innovative Solutions, Chart New Course For Future” – Hon Akinsete

IBADAN – The Oyo State Government has concluded all arrangements for the hosting of the maiden edition of the Real Estate Conference to showcase state’s commitment, policies and initiative to develop the real estate sector.

The Conference, according to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, will hold on 4th December, 2024 at International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan by 10am.

He reiterated the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde to intimate the stakeholders on the policies of his administration aiming exploring the opportunity in real estate for rapid urbanization.

Hon. Akinsete, who disclosed that the conference is in collaboration with Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria, tagged it “Positioning and Globalization of Oyo State Real Estate Sector: Road to Urbanization” and “Necessity of Working in Concurrence with the State’s Vision and Master Plan”.

The Special Adviser further disclosed that the Objectives of the Conference include bringing together stakeholders, experts, and policymakers in the real estate sector to discuss innovative solutions, explore opportunities, and chart a course for the future of Oyo State’s real estate industry.

He noted that the highlights of the event are keynote addresses by renowned industry experts, panel discussions on topical issues (affordable housing, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities) and exhibition of ongoing and proposed real estate projects in Oyo State.

Other highlights are networking sessions for developers, investors, and policymakers and launch of innovative initiatives to boost the state’s real estate sector.

Speaking on the importance of the Conference, Hon. Akinsete, said that the participants will gain insights into Oyo State’s real estate market trends and opportunities, network with industry leaders, policymakers, and potential investors, stay updated on government policies and initiatives supporting real estate growth, as well as showcasing projects and services to a targeted audience.
