2027: Plank Sellers Association Endorses Tinubu For Second Term

IBADAN – THE Plank Sellers Association of Nigeria has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement was announced at the meeting at the Oyo town sawmill.
Alhaji Lateef Kayode Adelodun, the association’s national president and chairman of the Lagos State Plank and Building Materials Market Association, praised Tinubu’s performance in his first two years. “President Tinubu has performed exceptionally well and deserves another term to fulfill his promises,” Adelodun said.
The association highlighted key achievements, including:
Infrastructure Development: Progress on the 700km Lagos-Calabar coastal highway and upgrades to Apapa and Lekki ports.
Economic Stability: A record-high All Share Index and a strengthened naira, ranked among the world’s top-performing currencies.
Social Welfare: Student loans benefiting over 500,000 students and an $800 million cash transfer program for vulnerable Nigerians.
Adelodun urged Nigerians aged 18 and older to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for the 2027 polls, stating, “PVCs empower citizens to access democratic benefits, demand their rights, and gain societal recognition.”
The endorsement from this key stakeholder group bolsters Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
