After Five Days In Kidnappers Den, Nasarawa Commissioner Of Information Regains Freedom

Nasarawa commissioner for information has regained freedom from kidnappers den.

Naijanewshub.com.ng gathered that Mr. Lawal Yakubu Addah, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism, on Friday regained from his abductors after spending five days in kidnappers den.

DSP Ramhan Nansel the Police Public Relations Officer who confirmed the release of the commissioner in a telephone interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT said the development followed sustained pressure of combined security operatives on kidnappers.

DSP Ramhan Nansel explained that the commissioner was immediately rushed to an undisclosed medical facility in the state for examination before reuniting with his family after his release at about 6 o’clock in the evening.

The Police Public Relation Officer also noted that security surveillance had been intensified in Nasarawa Eggon local government area following increased insecurity in the area.

Mr. Yakubu Lawal Addah, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Monday at about 9:45 in the night at his residence in Nasarawa Eggon local government area of the state.
