Buhari Returns To Senate, Wins Oyo North Senatorial District Election

Senator Fatai Buhari has won Oyo North Senatorial District election.

Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Senator Fatai Abdulfatai Buhari winners of Oyo North Senatorial District Election.

The current Senator, Fatai Buhari won with 90,078 votes to defeat Hon. Akinwale Akinwole of Peoples Democratic Party (APC) who polled 77,034 votes.

Senator Buhari also defeated Accord’s candidate, Honorable Shina Peller to return to the national assembly election as a senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District for three consecutive term.
