JUSUN Strike As Cover Up For Crime, Invasion Of High Court Premises In The Middle Of The Night?
On the dead evening of 23rd April, 2026, when all judiciary staff had closed and retired to their homes after a good day work, Osun State JUSUN Chairman, Mr Idris Adeniran, in company of the High Court Registrar of Osun State High Court, Odeomu, and WITHOUT the knowledge, consent and approval of Justice Okediya’s consent first had and have, took a case file concerning UBA matter on Federal Government allocation to Local Government Councils with a view to “working on it”.
The security men on the ground alerted Justice Sikiru Oke whi hails from the town that some people had broken into the Court.
Justice Oke instructed them to alert the police. He later informed his brother Judge, Justice Okediya, who agreed with him on the step taken by His Lordship.
The duo they met inside the court were accosted and taken to the police station.
They were given administrative bail by the police with instructions to report back to the station the following day.
It should be stated that the JUSUN Chairman is not a staff of the High Court but Customary Court of Appeal and has no business going to the High Court at Odeomu at such an ungodly hour.
The Registrar later reported back at the police station and was taken to State State Investigation Bureau in Osogbo while JUSUN Chairman refused, failed and/or neglected to report back.
Instead, in a manner of being a judge in his own case and using trade union, JUSUN, as a cover for his criminal act, he issued threat to police that if the Registrar was not released within 24 hours he would close down all courts in Osun State! What a criminal effrontery!
He was silent on his being a participant criminis in the act leading to the Registrar’s arrest!
He also lied that the Registrar sought and got the permission of Justice Okediya, the presiding judge, to work overnight.
His Lordship never gave such approval and he is not even competent to so do without the written consent of the Chief Judge of the State.
The Registrar has, however, allegedly made useful confession to the police on the person who sent them. This would interest the LPPC and LPDC on this type of gangsteristic commando action of a senior member of the Bar!
We enjoin the police and the Chief Judge not to be deterred by the JUSUN Chairman blackmail and/or campaign of calumny but rather charge the matter to FEDERAL HIGH COURT if their investigation discloses crime; without sparing the Ọga patapata at the Ministry of Justice who allegedly sent them.
The pertinent question is what law gives JUSUN Chairman the right to invade a High Court premises at that ungodly hour claiming that he was helping the government to compile record of Appeal when in actual fact he is not a worker at the High Court but Customary Court?
