Two Paraded For Phone Theft In Ibadan

Suspected phone snatchers have been paraded in Ibadan.

Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that two suspected phone snatchers have been paraded by commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) Oyo state command, CC Adaralewa Micheal.

The suspects were according to press statement by the command public relations officers were paraded on Monday at the Command’s Headquaters Agodi Ibadan.

A copy of the statement made available to newsmen stated that  Commandant Adaralewa Michael paraded the two suspected thieves who specialized in phone theft by picking pockets within Ibadan metropolis at the Command State Headquarters.

The State Commandant gave their names as Olaniyi Ademola age 35years, male, a native of Iwo in Osun State who resides at No 5/153 Odo Osun Labiran Area of Ibadan North East and Kehinde Asimiyu, 31years, native of Ibadan from Ojagbo Mafikuyomi Compound of Ibadan North East Local Government respectively.

Commandant Adaralewa made it known that the two suspects were arrested on November 29th 2022 around 0900hrs after they have successfully picked two Android phones, one Itel and one Infinix from innocent citizens at Olorunsogo area of Ona Ara Local Government, before the intervention of Operation Burst in the area who pursued and arrested them.

“No criminal minded citizen will be allowed to stay in Oyo State, it’s better you leave this State”. Adaralewa stated.

Adaralewa further stated that the two suspects will be arraigned in law court immediately after the investigation.
