Over 500 Brilliant Orphans, Vulnerable Children To Benefit From Restanchor Educational Scholarship

***As Ooni Commends Foundation Over Commitment To Better Society

No fewer than 520 orphans and vulnerable children have been listed for Restanchor Total Parenting Foundation educational support and scholarship.

Naijanewshub.com.ng reports that In his quest to support the orphans and vulnerable children in achieving excellent in their academic pursuits, the President of Restanchor Total Parenting Foundation Pastor Prince Leye Adefioye has on Thursday confirmed that no fewer than 520 orphans and vulnerable children have been considered for educational support and scholarship by his foundation.

Restanchor Total Parenting Foundation with motto ‘Centre For Total Child and Parenting’  according to Prince Leye Adefioye has been contributing positively to the academic excellent of the less privilege children in the society since year 2006 till date.

In his welcome address at the annual Educational support program for 520 orphans and vulnerable children for 2022-2023 academic year held at Kristas Resources Center General Gas Ibadan, Prince Leye commended the management of IBEDC for their support through payment of WAEC/NECO examination fees for 110 students as well as procuring school uniforms, bags, books and other academic materials for students.

Prince Leye further said, “I wish to inform you that our foundation has concluded to raise education supports plus scholarship for brilliant 520 selected orphans and vulnerable children if someone is going down the wrong road, he or she doesn’t need motivation to speed him or her up, what he or she need is education to turn him or her around. In our foundation we go by the maxim of Martin Luther King Jr which says that intelligence plus character is the goal of true education.”

“In 2022 we presented for education support and scholarship, 421 orphans and vulnerable children where one of them who happened to be double orphan girl got a full scholarship for her education pursuit courtesy of Dr. (Mrs). Adesuwa Adetoyese. It is on this note I’m calling on individuals and well meaning Nigerians to contribute your quota to the development of the less privilege and the needy in the society.”

“Whatever you are enjoying today is someone else’s contributions, life is a cycle of contributions, I contribute, you contribute, we contribute at a point of any party ceases to contribute, the cycle will be broken and leakages will be discovered, whatever you are lacking today is because someone refused to contribute and contribution can be done either by knowledge, physically, spiritually, intellectually, financially, morally just to make a world a better place to live. Our theme for the year 2022-2023 educational support program for 520 is tagged “Turning Vulnerability to sustainability; there is a great seed of greatness in us, and we are very optimistic that your contribution today will make a positive impact.” Leye said.

In his goodwill message, the royal father of the day, the Ooni of Ile-Ife His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi who was ably represented by Agbole of Agbaje HRM Oba Adekunle Adebowale commended Prince Leye Adefioye for his commitment to the wellbeing of the less privilege children in the society.

He however called on individuals to emulate the president of Restanchor Total Child Parenting Foundation kind gesture in lifting the orphans and vulnerable children in the society. He confirmed that whoever that support a male child with education has empowered a whole community, while whoever that support a female child has empowered a whole country.

Also his goodwill message, IBEDC MD, Engr. Kingsley Achife who was ably represented at the program by Olori Busolami Tunwase stressed the need for every child to be educated.

Tunwase said, “If we give these children money it will finished, even if you give them food they finish it, but if you give them education you have given them what will sustain them and their future, you have given them life.”
